Wild Lantana  
(Lantana involucrata)  
 
Description: Native to South Florida, Keys and Tropical America the plant grows in thickets along the edges of roads and hammocks.
 
Leaves: Light green a rough with toothed edges.  The shape is oval and smell spicy (like sage) when crushed.
 
Trunk: Pale yellowish bark - brittle to the touch.
Blooms: White in very small clusters blooming year round in the Keys.
Fruit: Small purple droop about 1/8 inch across.
